It’s baaaaaack. Your favorite fall cider – the perfect complement to a holiday meal, a game of touch football, a backyard bonfire with friends. We created this cider three years ago or so with our good friend Terry Hathaway, Master of Tea. Yeah, that’s like a tea sommelier. Terry worked with Longdrop Cider Maker Preston Crosswhite to come up with the perfect blend of fall spices and chai tea for what has become one of our signature ciders. Terry has since retired but the good folks at Snake River Tea now help us carry on this fall tradition.
Beginning in October we’ll feature this cider with smoked meats prepared by Chef Dave Haley of Smoke & Thyme; its a great cider with food. Later in fall this is a great cider to blend with a jigger of your favorite Bourbon. When the weather turns really chilly, throw a bottle of this in your crock pot and you’ve got a nice winter warmer for your guests. No guests? Pour a glass in a coffee cup and activate ye old microwave.
